Information we collect

When you use our contact or catering forms, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and details about your message or event (such as preferred location, date, and guest count). You choose what to send; we only request what we need to respond.

Like many websites, we also collect technical and usage information when you visit — for example pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device or browser type, and referral source. Some of this is gathered through cookies or similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which help us understand visits and measure advertising.

How we use your information

We use form submissions to reply to your inquiry, confirm catering details, and follow up by WhatsApp, phone, or email. Visit, Analytics, and Pixel data help us improve the site, understand which pages are useful, and measure the performance of our ads.

We do not sell your personal information. We use it only for operating our business, communicating with you, and improving our online presence.

Sharing and service providers

Contact and catering forms can open WhatsApp or your email app (to Order@africanbbqhouse.com) with your details so our team can respond. When you choose WhatsApp, Meta processes the information you send under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.

Google Analytics may process usage data under Google’s terms. Meta Pixel and related tools may share visit and advertising data with Meta Platforms. Ordering, delivery, or social platforms you use (for example Uber Eats, Instagram, or Facebook) have their own privacy practices when you interact with them.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to handle your request, run the business, or meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required. We take reasonable steps to protect information under our control, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may decline to submit a form or limit what you share. You can also control cookies and tracking through your browser settings, Google’s Ads Settings / Analytics opt-out tools, and, where available, Meta’s ad preferences.

Under PIPEDA, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or inquire about our privacy practices. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
